 The adverb sentence

Adverbs describe verbs eg surprisingly,firstly,confusingly,often and remarkably.

Adverb sentence starters odd interest or intrigue to our work.

remember the rule: when you start a sentence with an adverb place a comma after the adverb then write the rest of the sentence.

examples convincingly,shockingly,unfortunately,fortunately,suddenly,similarly

suddenly a ghost appeared, in the room.

unfortunately, i was late for school.

fortunately, i didn't get in trouble.

suddenly, a goat walked the room.


the preposition sentence

remember the rule: when you start the sentences with a preposition, you need to put a comma when the moment or position ends. 

in the beginning, we talked a lot.

near the basketball court, is the rubbish bin.
